OUT OF TIME by TOM BENNETT

AMATEUR ADVENTURE DESCRIPTION:

We are proud to present this exclusive and original amateur adventure on the Official Fighting Fantasy™ Gamebook's web site, written by Tom Bennett. Within this exciting adventure your many adventures in Allansia are not all that they seemed.

BACKGROUND

After surviving the Deathtrap Dungeon twice, finding the Warlock's treasure and slaying the evil Snow Witch, you embark on another perilous adventure; to slay the Dragon of Gretogh. After making your way to where it is known to dwell deep within the Flatlands, you descend deep beneath the earth into a labyrinth of passages, secret traps and Orcs'.

At first you discover little. However eventually you see an explosion and discover the Dragon. You stumble into the cavern in which the DRagon is located and it belches flames that you only just manage to dodge.

When the opportunity arrives you charge at the Dragon with your sword aloft and are quickly defeated by the Dragon's immense battle-honed abilities that are far beyond your own. Inevitably you succumb to death.

You awake to the sound of an artificial computerized voice.

"Welcome back to reality Player One. You have been locked in a loop in the computer game Adventure for the last seven years. You will feel a little dizzy when you stand and rise from the capsule, however the effects will wear off shortly. Please wait for an assistant to release you.

You are terribly confused. You were not who you thought you were, it seems. Your adventures in Allansia were all an artificial dream. They seemed so real! Your thoughts are interrupted by terrible screams. Your hand reaches for your sword and instead finds what you recognize as a laser gun. How do you know? Confused you tear the straps off your arms and legs and try to find the root of the screaming in the bright complex you find yourself.
