FIGHTING FANTASY™ AFF: BLACKSAND

BlacksandSprawling like the corpse of some giant creature, Port Blacksand is a festering den of pirates and brigands. Unforeseen dangers lurk around every street corner and in every dark alleyway. Devious plots and crimes are hatched in every tavern. Thieves and assassins slip through the shadows. Ancient mysteries lurk in the cellars and sewers. But the infamous City of Thieves is also home to excitement and adventure beyond compare!

Now Advanced Fighting Fantasy™ allow YOU to enter the City of Thieves. As the game's director, you can guide your heroic friends through dozens of nerve-shattering adventures. Alternatively, as a courageous Hero you can seek your fortune in the City's labyrinth of thief-infested back-streets."

This Fighting Fantasy™ volume was the second in the Advanced Fighting Fantasy™ (or AFF) series building upon the foundations laid in the volume Dungeonner.

The second book deals primarily with those wishing to perform city-based Fighting Fantasy™ adventures and includes lots more Special Skills, spells and the 'priest' career class as an alternative to the standard warrior and wizard. The Priest is detailed along with a look at some of the major faiths of Titan to work with.

Along with a look at a good range of new abilities and spells we are provided with a small adventure, that concerns a murder mystery in Port Blacksand that leads to an climatic ending that has ramifications for the players in the last book in the series Allansia.
